We've got Marco living a lie as he takes Big Gay Tim under his proverbial wing. One year after the events of Time Stands Still Spinner is searching for a greater meaning and Jimmy's searching for inspiration, which he finds in an unlikely source. Nathaniel predicts big things on the horizon for Jimmy and Ellie, whether or not he's correct, time will tell. 

The Wasteland High boys commiserate over the path J.T.'s life is going down and cringe over the life choices they made while they were 16 and in love. Peter will henceforth be known as Degrassi's Brock Turner, and Snake is in the throws of a quarter-life crisis.

Dom and Nathaniel dissect the inner workings of  the latest Craig Manning love triangle in Weddings, Parties, Anything while reckoning with the fact that Joey Jeremiah is 34 years old and tucks his t-shirt into his jeans. During the I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For commentary Nathaniel has a fell breakdown as he realizes Degrassi's gaslighting him, which leads the guys into re-writing the entire A-plot. Nathaniel hates Liberty's treatment of J.T., Dom hates everything involving Ellie.

Mr. O's done riding the rails and he's back in Toronto, breaking hearts and peddling doobie (literally one, single joint).  Paige smokes her future away as she gets high before the college fair at Degrassi. We meet another new character this season, the gremlin prince, Derek. J.T. and Liberty are with child and Spinner is with Darcy, if he plays his cards right.

We've arrived at season 5 and Nathaniel has found his kindred Degrassi spirit in the new student, Peter Stone. Manny's contemplating body modification and Ellie's contemplating how she really feels about her best friend's ex-boyfriend, Craig Manning. 

Craig's off his meds and on the streets. Caitlin and Kevin Smith are on their bullshit. Ashley's on a plane far, far away from Toronto. Stay tuned towards the midway point of the episode for our patented Character Rankings. 

First and foremost apologies for the audio issues on Nathaniel's end. It's so hard to make perfect art. That being said, in Moonlight Desires we're discussing the complexities of blood donation and homosexual relationships in the the early aughts. In West End Girls we are cursed with the fan-fic of Kevin Smith and a civil war between Paige and Manny.

Ellie's taken to playing cards to make ends meet, even though her boozehound of a mother is  willing to pay her rent if Ellie has dinner with her weekly. Yo.. Modern Love, how the hell are we still stuck in this Mr. O / Paige plot. What are we even supposed to take away from this relationship? Also, we have our very first sighting of Chantay!

What does one even say about Secret? It's a two-parter you must experience for yourself. As for Eye of the Tiger... It's about damn time Spinner face some consequences for his heinous goblin-esque behavior this season.

Nathaniel finally realizes what exactly is going on with Craig after all these years. Is Craig toxic, sure. Is Craig also suffering from a chemical imbalance, you betcha. Although, Nathaniel believes there's a little extra in there messing with Craig's psyche. The B plot  of Voices Carry is a mess. Just pure cringe. We unfortunately have to cover Bark at the Moon as well which is HEAVY most things wrong with season 4, Chester, Mr. O/Paige.. etc.
