While rooting around in my old Tuff Box, I came across a battered thumb-drive. Wiping off the thin layer of dust (almost certainly from Iraq) revealed "WIB" written on it in Sharpie. Curious, I plugged it into my laptop and found a recording I had thought was gone forever.
I don't know exactly when it was recorded and, as always, I'm not entirely satisfied with the quality, or my awful pronunciation and annunciation (due largely to the lingering sinus problems). It's not a complete episode, either. I suspect that I didn't invest much effort into finding it because the content is only really interesting as a novelty.
The first portion is simply me reading and commenting on atrocities highlighted in Stars & Stripes. There is then a rather looooong segment in which I talk through a repair on a flight-control pallet. I find it horribly boring, but who knows what you folks might enjoy. Hopefully it will still be interesting to you in some way. The only alterations I have done to the original audio are the omission of a last name and an URL, due to privacy concerns and a request from the individual in question and converting it to stereo.
I'm not really a fan of posting something this raw and "rough." I feel, though, that it still belongs here. So, if for some reason you are under the impression that collecting every episode will win you some kind of prize, feel free to download or just listen.
I'm sure its place in the order can be easily determined by comparison of events and the timing of my torturous head cold, but I'm too busy working on putting together the new show. Enjoy, folks. Take care of each other and watch your six.
