Dear Listeners, we're putting The Startup rewatch on hold, to try out this much talked about drama: Nevertheless. We've watched three episodes so far and we have a LOT of feelings. Join us for a game of Never Have I Ever, and a discussion of what we liked, didn't like, and our decision about whether or not we will keep watching! There are spoilers! Beware!
We are now on episodes 4 and 5 of Startup. We thought we were ready to jump into the Nam Do San/Dalmi ship as it was getting ready to sail into the sunset, but rewatching these episodes made us think again. We're really trying not to hate it, but it's just all so problematic. So, it turned into a hatefest real quick. If you're open-minded and willing to join us as we dive deep into our feels, listen in as we tackle three of the reasons this drama pushes all our "angry" buttons.
The noonas are back and this time, we've brought along a special chingu to help even the playing field--because #lovetriangles. It's still 2vs1, but at least we get another perspective. We also dive into important questions like: can you build a relationship on a lie? How do you feel about bitin pants and no socks? And what other K-Dramas we're watching these days. It's a crazy conversation, so listen in if you dare!
We tell you what the podcast is all about and who the Two Noonas are. We tackle some basic questions about K-dramas, and dip into our preferences and watching styles. Then, we get straight into all the feels rewatching the pilot episode of Startup gave us. (We may have also talked about memories of later episodes. We couldn't help it.) THERE WILL BE SPOILERS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
In case you were looking for a completely honest conversation about KDrama, here's something that might fit the bill. We're going to be talking about the KDramas we're watching (and rewatching), we'll discuss our thoughts, process our feelings, and tackle burning questions like "Why do I always fall for the second lead?!"
