She's still Jenny from the block

On today's episodes we go into the new movie Hustlers, starring Jennifer Lopez & Constance Wu. A movie based on the article "Hustlers at Score." A Robin Hood stripper movie where they steal from the rich and give...to themselves. Nonetheless, Jennifer Lopez kilt this role and still looks amazing at age 50, probably her best acting role yet. We also get into how Cardi B was exposed to this exact scandal a couple months ago and how it went over peoples heads.

Seinfield, Brockhampton, and Yeezys!? A couple of things that we get into on this relaxed new episode of Quick Take. See what we've been enjoying in music, books, shows, clothes, and movies!

On today's episode, we cover our mid year favorite (so far): Climax. We encourage everyone to watch this psychotic, beautiful, yet disturbing movie for themselves before listening or listen then watch it! It's definitely a movie that has been going under the radar, but Gasper Noe really killed it with this movie, definitely an intriguing experience that you don't want to stop watching.

Back from a little vaycay and 2 weeks without recording, we dive into the Trailer for Jojo Rabbit! Jojo Rabbit is a movie directed by Taika Waititi (director of Thor Ragnarok), which is a satire of World War 2 & Nazi Germany. We also dive into the idea of boundaries with satire and parodies when it comes to series subject matter such as Germany at this time & genocide.

Do you think there's a boundary for satire/parody? Should there be? Or is that just Hollywood for ya?
