Watchin It

We are back with more Kenobi and the return of the Orville after 2 years. Apparently we are doing a space theme this week. And man, both of these shows were good. Kenobi keeps up the great story telling and gifting us some Vader earlier than we thought we would be seeing him. And the Orville is back and coming in strong. So much good TV and only more to come.

Yeah, I know I said that I was going to get this out the night of, but the Amazon decided that we needed 3 episodes. So it was late. And this might not be the most coherent episode we've ever done. But here is our return to the universe of the Boyz, and damn, do they not hold back.

And we are back to doing shows. And first up is Obi-Wan. Or is it Kenobi? What? It's Obi-Wan Kenobi? But why. Seems like just one of his names would work for the title. What do they think we are going to think this show is about some other Kenobi? Obi-Wan Miller? Whatever. Anyways, Robert and Donnell also have some catching up to do as they come back from their small break. What did we watch while we didn't have to watch shows for the podcast? Guess you have to listen to find out.

Well we got science, politics, a taste test, and an IT professional who needs to get out more. Yeah, Talkin It is here. Robert and Donnell have been a bit out of sorts on the Watchin It side of things with all the shows they have to cover, but Talkin It simple. Just 2 guys, some drinks and whatever random talk that comes up. Just the way we like it.

Our last episode before things kick into a full swing. And this week we decided to talk about the 2018 hit Mortal Engines........ Ok, hit might be a bit strong. This movie has all the parts of something great, it just doesn't work though. Not sure what went wrong or where, but what should have been a kick off to a great couple of movies, was more like a wet fart. Robert and Donnell dive in and try to figure out just what doesn't work with Mortal Engines.

Robert and Donnell have a small break before the next couple of shows, so they decided to get caught up on some movies they've talked about quite a bit. And this week it's Pig. This is Nic Cage at his best. I never knew that I could care so much about a man and his pig, but this movie is something else. How this movie didn't win Best Picture (or even get an Oscar nod) is crazy. Especially in a world where CODA won. There is something wrong in the world. I mean fuck CODA.

So Picard and Moon Knight are over. And they both kind of let us down. I mean don't get me wrong, Moon Knight is nowhere near as bad as Picard, but still left us wanting more. Both of these shows had a lot of potential this season. And now we have to wait. For Picard, season 3 is already filmed, so we could see something sooner rather than later. But we have no idea when Moon Knight will arrive in the MCU. Hopefully we will get some sort of update from Disney. Now we take small break before the most packet docket of shows we have had in a while.

It's finally here. We have the guest. We have the content. It's the 100th Episode special. And....... it's a bit long. Like I was shooting for 1 1/2 hours and some how we got 2. And the audio is messed up at some points. And maybe there were some issues with Discord and recording. But it's a lot of fun. We have the team from Rotten Treasure. We have half of the Hard Mark Podcast. And we have half of the Back Look Cinema Podcast. You've heard them all before. Now we are bringing them together in sort of a Super Friends sort of thing.
