The gang has officially entered Halloween mode and itās happening all October long!!
After completing their work on Killer Klowns from Outer Space on a modest budget (circa US$1.8 million) the movie would eventually go on to achieve cult status and generated a strong fan-following thanks to its distinctive visuals, clown-alien concept, and practical special-effects work by the Chiodo Brothers.
They started getting approached to do creature/monster work on other filmsāincluding ones outside the pure horror domain.
For Ernest Scared Stupid, the Chiodo Brothers were hired to design, build and oversee the creature effects for the main evil troll characters and their visual world. the villain is Trantor and his army of minions. Ernest Scared Stupid had a budget of ~$9.6 million which allowed them to further show their capacity on a somewhat larger scale.
So grab a chair and lets put an end to all this gang violence so we can see how our boys have grown since the last time we all got together.
