Watchlistd

Two best friends talking movies, making lists, arguing over favourites, and taking extremely subjective questions way too seriously.

Watchlistd is a movie podcast built around Top Fours, head-to-head Smashcuts, Oscars Rewinds, and whatever else gives Dyl and Raf an excuse to debate movies.

New episodes wherever you get your podcasts.

Twenty years later, Dyl and Raf go back to the 79th Academy Awards and redo 2006. They revisit the year, rethink the major categories, build their own nominee lists, and get into the movies and performances the Oscars got right, got wrong, or somehow missed entirely. Plus wildcards, horror, casting, stunts, and a few 2006 confessions.

Mean Girls vs. Superbad: two defining high-school comedies from the 2000s, thrown into the Smashcut. Dyl and Raf go category by category — story, performances, quotes, scenes, production design, endings, the Wife Pick, and more — to see which one survives.

Dyl and Raf build their own Pixar Top Fours - with locks, bubbles, cuts, and a few painful omissions along the way. They get into Pixar’s best eras, the movies that aged the best, the ones nostalgia might be carrying, and which four actually deserve a spot on each list. Plus: best Pixar short.
