This week we look at Matthew 2:1-12, the story of sages who followed a star to find Jesus. What can we learn from them as we embark on the journey of a new year? 

This week we look at Matthew 2:1-12, the story of sages from other lands who followed a star to find Jesus. Their search led them to ask the current king where to find this new king the star portended - and that sent the current king into a paranoid panic and efforts to control what was beyond his control. That's what panic always does to us. How might we respond to the "uncontrollable" in our lives with faith and better strategies?
