Even though all ISRAEL left Goshen, it was no guarantee that they all reached the promised land. Many fell in between due to sin and disobedience. Beware!

Sometimes GOD takes us through the longer route. Even though we may not like it, it will do us good if we trust that GOD is good and HE has a good reason in doing so.

20 Lakh Israelites + some foreigners + large droves of livestock... Such a huge gathering followed Moses out of Egypt and GOD, The Most AWESOME ONE, took care of each and every one of them. Even few foreigners followed the Israelites out of Goshen!

Like Pharaoh, like Jonah we stubbornly refuse to do GOD'S bidding and thus face great tragedies as a result of disobedience. Why wait for a tragedy to see sense?
