The Spirit are on a four game win streak! Can Jose explain it all?

Well, it wasn't the ending Spirit fans wanted. But it was a great season. Fran returns to tell us all about what the final was like in person! And we recap some favorite moments from the season.

The Spirit won a great game in the semi-final against Portland, 2-0. And they are heading to the final against NY/NJ Gotham. Just like one of the water girls predicted! Thanks to our amazing photographer, Mike Stevens for the great photo for the episode. It captures sooo much emotion from the game and the moment Croix took the ball from the goalie to have a clear path to the goal!

Spirit cliniched home playoff games! We celebrate with new Spirit fan, Lauren! She tells us all about being a new fan AND teaches Marieka some soccer terms!

Stoppage time magic at Audi field! The Spirit scored in the final seconds of stoppage time to beat the Wave 2-1. We also discuss our press adventures this week. Spoiler, we asked coach about the short corner kicks to prep for this episode, but it turns out we aren't the only ones asking.

Spirit tied KC 0-0. Which is pretty good against the number one team in the league. And we recap the win against Seattle two weeks ago. ...and, as a bonus, we have a few stories from photographing college games.

KC clinched a playoff spot. Michelle Kang owns London City and is putting together a team to stay in the top tier of the WSL. Plus we cover a bit of women's college volleyball. And this was all recorded before the Spirit tied the Chicago Stars so we make wildly inaccurate predications for how the game will go.

The Water Girls + Fran went on a field trip to San Francisco to see ‘The Show’. Aka: the Spirit vs. Bay FC at Oracle Park (aka where the SF Giants play). It was epic to see a soccer game at a baseball stadium! Bay FC did a great job hosting and breaking the NWSL single game attendance record!
