Intermittent water supply in Midrand, Johannesburg has left some schools in the area grappling with sanitation challenges, increased staff and learner absenteeism and disrupted classroom activities. The dire situation has prompted SADTU's Site Secretary for Midrand High School, Lebogang Shovhote to call for urgent municipal intervention.
