Article: What Does Your Husband Expect of You? https://thehebrewhousewife.com/what-does-your-husband-expect-of-you/
Women are exhausted with the constant expectations, criteria and standards placed on us, because they are coming from the world. The world promises a reward for being a good wife, mother, homemaker, and good personal in general... but it never delivers on that fairytale promise, does it?
In todays episode, I challenge us to examine where our expectations come from and where our expectations are taking us; as well as make the case for doing all things unto The Lord, arguing that it can and will make us better in all things, not just in marriage or Biblical womanhood!
The Parable of the Talents used to always confound me when I would read it. I could never understand what was so offensive about what the so called wicked servant had done. The other servants multiiplied the King's talents, while he buried his single coin or talent... and he was punished... But now I get it, so I'm asking myself as well as you: are you investing for the King or are you too bitter with Yah to serve Him with your whole heart?Questions to ponder:- How am I investing my feminine gifts for the King?- What does the King's woman look like, act like, think like?- Which area needs a rededication to Yahuah?- Is there anything making me feel like I can't give my all towards the investment of these gifts?- Am I too discouraged by the prospect of labor that I can't see Yahuah's glory?- What's most important to me: my own comfort, the opinions of man, or pleasing The King?- What did I once dedicate to Yah that now seems negotiable? Or what did I agree to give or multiply, but now that I'm comfortable, is no longer a priority?

This episode is for the women who want peace at home but sometimes find themselves being the source of chaos. You're not alone, and wives have been struggling with this for centuries. I've certainly had my fair share of feeling like I need to resort to strange methods in order to show my feelings of discontent to hubby, such as slamming things, holding in the truth, or turning to other people for comfort.
Not only is fighting clamor important to bring peace into the home, but defeating the spirit of clamor means inviting our husbands to be more intimate with us.
In this episode I detail my experience with clamor, what clamor is, why we must fight it, and how to overcome it with grace.

What kinds of expectations have you faced in motherhood?
Do people judge the food you feed your children? The clothes they wear? The activities you do with them?
Maybe you're not meeting the Proverbs 31 standards.
You might even be a working mom, constantly judged for leaving your kids. Or a homemaking mom, constantly judged for being your kids' only educator despite maybe not having a degree.
We all face expectations in motherhood; I've dedicated this episode of Watered Womanhood to talk about these expectations, why they're so dangerous, how to stop comparing your journey, and what it looks like to embrace your own path as a mother!
