It is getting more and more difficult for people who follow Jesus. The church often reflects the world in character, persecution is increasing, and many pastors have entered ministry for the wrong reasons. This week in 2 Timothy 3:1-1, we will see how we are called to respond in these difficult times.

This week, as we continue our series in 2 Timothy, we look at God’s instructions for being a useful carrier of His good news.

We are all seeking approval. The joy that we will find in life will come down to whether or not we gained the approval of the right person.

Paul reminds Timothy that faithfulness comes with a cost. When your faith is the cause for you to endure suffering, remember Jesus’ example.

We are all devoted to something. 2 Timothy 2:1-7 gives us clear instruction on where our devotion belongs in response to receiving the gospel.
