This message begins with a video from The Bible Project titled “Proverbs,” which gives a very detailed overview of the book of Proverbs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzmYV8GNAIM&pbjreload=10 . There are good reasons to study the wisdom of Proverbs. True wisdom develops life understanding and skills. The fear of the Lord is the base for true wisdom. Parenting done well, trains children for life. Wisdom won’t force itself on a person but gives great benefits when sought and embraced. A message by Pastor John Tuttle of Waters Edge Church. God plans on living with His people. He designed us that way. Jesus functioned in harmony with the Father as the Holy Spirit allows us to function with Jesus. We are promised power to carry out the workings of the kingdom of God. A sermon based on John 14 titled “At Home” by Pastor John Tuttle of Waters Edge Church. We can choose much of the attitude we carry, as Pastor John Tuttle entails using Philippians 4. Focusing on the right things matters. No outward circumstance has the right to steal our joy, so we can “Choose to Rejoice.” Paul set a good example for us in the way he lived his life, despite trials and tribulations, and exhorted us to “rejoice in the Lord always, and again I will say, rejoice!” Phil 4:4

Paul saw suffering as a portion of life in Christ, which he describes in these two chapters of Philippians. Paul considered himself to be a citizen of heaven. He based his hope of salvation upon the faithfulness of Christ. A sermon by Pastor John Tuttle of Waters Edge Church. Visit us on the web at www.mqtchurch.com

Living together requires purpose and grace. In Philippians, Paul writes of the example Jesus set for us – how in humility He gave Himself fully to the purposes of God to bring us together with Him into eternal life. How important the family of God was to Him. And He set an example for us – that our acts of compassion for one another can shine as a light to the lost and bring us all together into His kingdom. Whether living or dying, both had benefit to Paul. Paul saw his relationship with the Philippians as a working relationship; seeking to win the lost. Paul continued with optimism while suffering in jail. A sermon by Pastor John Tuttle of Waters Edge Church. Visit us on the web at www.mqtchurch.com

The mina is a measure of weight. How we invest it tells a lot about what we are investing our lives in. Christ’s return, though delayed, will certainly happen. Our perception of God guides our investment of energy and resource. God is faithful to those who seek him first. A sermon by Pastor John Tuttle of Waters Edge Church. In describing our relationship with God, we often use the imagery of friend, child and servant. Jesus modeled a leadership style serving while leading, in contrast to our earthly ideas that leaders use their power to rule others. A sermon by Pastor John Tuttle of Waters Edge Church.
