If we are personally/ collectively growing internally (maturity), then we will also be growing externally (reproduction). Any sign of life and health for any living organism is both… growth AND new life.

If we are maturing, a sign of life is reproduction. New life. What do we need to grow in order to witness reproduction?

"God, fill me with your Holy Spirit."

When God does, Sometimes, cosmic fireworks happen. Sometimes, cold bodies come to life. Sometimes convicting conversations occur. Sometimes compassionate communion takes place. What is clear is the following…

The movement of the Spirit expands OUTWARD. While the inertia of church culture tends to bend inward, the movement of the Spirit proliferates outward (towards others).

Is there a situation in your life that is demanding you to wait?

What is God forming in you through waiting?

Trust?

Humility?

Surrender?

Being Present?

What is God forming in us as we wait together in this faith community?

King Jesus sends whole yet incomplete people to fill the whole earth to partner with God in the restoration (“wholeness”) of God’s creation.

Since, the mission remains incomplete. W.E. (Water's Edge) are up. So... how do we become more complete witnesses? <-- (Wonky question... but have a listen).

On Saturday, many of us heard the story of a smaller community of faith in a anti-church culture that was at a bit of junction:

1) Would they continue to care for one another (not a terrible thing) or...

2) was it time to discern new ways (which are actually the ancient ways) that the community would be sent together care for those in her city, networks and neighborhoods in order that the city would prosper… and the church would begin to earn the credibility Jesus so deserves.

Let's choose the latter. The first question... Who?

Media. Entertainment. There is so much to take in... But the greatest stories are within Scripture AND the heart of one who trusts Christ is Lord.

This Sunday, we learned from those who create space to hear the Author of life at work in the lives of others (ie. group shepherds).
