In week 1 of the On a Mission series Pastor Kel tries to help answer the question of “why do we give?” In this sermon we discuss the Biblical concept that giving is a response to what God has already done in our lives, and as such - we should be giving out of a feeling of passion and gratitude, not out of rote obligation.

As we wrap up our Back to Basics series, Pastor Kel's finishes with a message centering on where we go next. In it he discusses death, resurrection, and where we find ourselves in the midst of God's redemptive story. We can move forward with confidence in our lives as we already know how God’s story will end.

What is the church?  We've all heard that we should go to church. Listen this week about why "going to" church misses the whole point. Lets not go to church, instead, lets be the church. 

We shift focus a bit in our series Back to Basics. In this week we start to explore why we do some of the things that we do as we look at the question, What are the Sacraments? In this we explore Baptism, Communion, and why we do them in the United Methodist Church. 

As we continue to explore the idea of God's plan for humanity's rescue, we ask the question: what is Salvation?  This week we will explore the reason that God sent Jesus, His Son, to save humanity and what exactly that looks like. 

In week 3 of our series back to basics we discussed the gaping separation between God and Humanity that exists because of our sin. But there is HOPE! This week we ask the question: What is the plan? And we explore how God is going to redeem humanity and restore us to himself.
