This week, Pastor Scott taught about spiritual growth; how Jesus grew spiritually and how we are to do the same.  He listed three challenges to grow spiritually:

1.   Do the hard things

2.   Believe for bigger things

3.   Praise Him in the painful things

Ultimately, we need grace (not just unmerited favor, but divine empowerment) to accomplish all God has for us, and grace grows in the difficult times.

This week, Pastor Scott teaches about the importance and value of wisdom in our growth as believers.  He lays out the ways in which we obtain wisdom, as well as explaining why it's so vital that we seek after it.  Above all, seeking the face of God is the surest way to obtain wisdom, and asking for His opinion as we make our decisions.

This week, Pastor Mario speaks on having an intimate relationship with the Father that goes beyond asking Him for help.  Our relationships with our refrigerators are summed up by intimacy only when we need something.  We know from our own experiences that you can't have that kind of relationship with a person and expect it to last.  We should seek intimacy and time with God for its own sake, not just because we want something from Him.
