The six chapters in Ephesians can be compared to rooms in God's house, the church. In Ephesians 3, we compare this to a "trophy room" where something prized or valuable is displayed. In Ephesians, that's the church. We are reminded in this lesson that the church is God's plan to reach the world, amaze the angels and bring glory to God.

Every church has its characters. In 3 John, we meet three. Which are you? Which do you want to be?

In a world that Satan has blinded to a larger view, Jesus opens our eyes in different ways, ways to see what God wants and needs us to see. What do you see?

Lamentations is a short book of five poems arranged around the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. We might say Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, laments the destruction of Jerusalem from A to Z. In these five poems, we learn some things about God and some things about ourselves.

In the second chapter of Ephesians, we enter the family room. Imagine sitting around a room with family and remembering the past like we often do in family gatherings. For God's family, we need to remember what sin did to us and then remember what great things God has done for us.

In our One Book series we examine the book of Jeremiah. After giving a brief outline and overview, we take a look at the life of Jeremiah as a prophet and we learn we have a lot in common with him.

The book of Ephesians is about the church of Christ, which is called God's household or family! It's about Christians living like they are rich rather than poor. In this series, each chapter will represent a different room in God's house. In chapter one, it is as if we are walking into "the entry room" and there we are introduced to God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit. How blessed we are to be in this family!

At the heart of missions is the nature of God. God first loved us. God first gave to us. When we follow him by faith we want to give what is pleasing to him. In this lesson, Lenin Munguia offers us encouragement for giving toward our annual Great Commission Sunday with a reminder of these principles from 2 Samuel 24:18-25, Phil. 2:5-11 and Rom. 15:16.

After a brief overview and explanation that Isaiah is the gospel in miniature form, we focus on the encounter that Isaiah has with God in Isaiah 6:1-9. This encounter changed him and it should change us!
