How Daz came to buy a Wattbike Atom during COVID lockdown in the UK. Having first used his old Cube Hybrid MTB that had been gathering dust in his garage, and managing to find an eBay seller with a Smart Turbo Trainer in April 2020 when they were like proverbial rocking horse doo-doo.

During the early COVID-19 lockdown Daz started training indoors using a 2nd hand Turbo Trainer and Zwift. Now with his hands on a Wattbike Atom, and a member of the Atom Racing Team as a Zwift Power A Category rider having improved from a starter to a contender, these are his rants, grunts and comments for any other 40-somethings or older getting accustomed to the world of virtual indoor cycle training.
Did I mention that Daz has lost 10kg since February through Zwift ?
