The fear of failure gripes us from time to time. We are given some kind of challenge but sometimes when it comes to the crunch we are overtaken by the grip of fear. For some it is flying or getting into a lift for others it can be shyness or stage fright. The fear of failure can grip us when we least expect it and yet at other times the fear is there as the countdown to the dentist ticks by. Some Believers cant wait to get stuck into the ministry that God has for them and others become stressed at the prospect of stepping out.
Fear of failure can be strong because we see our own inadequacies mainly in human terms. With God nothing is impossible. God gave Moses so much reassurance in lots of areas. We know this story has a good ending, Red sea, Ten commandments and after 40 years in the wilderness because of disobedience the Israelites reached the promised land.
We must draw good conclusions from this story and apply the idea that God is empowering us just like He empowered Moses.
Don’t let the fear of failure drive you, trust God for success in all that you are called to do.
