[verse 1]
Shabbat Shalom, 'tis now the time,
to search thine hearts and pray;
O wouldest thou, now humbly bow,
unto thy Lord this day?
Shabbat Shalom, be diligent,
be faithful and be sure;
ye guard thine hearts, from evil darts,
the scriptures doth adjure.
(His Torah doth adjure)
[chorus]
Shalom! Shalom! Ye brethren fear,
and give thy souls to prayer;
ye shun the wants, and worldly taunts,
that wouldest ye despair.
Shalom! Shalom! O Yeshua,
Who giveth grace and peace;
yea, come ye now, unto Him bow,
and He shalt thee increase.
(thy good shalt He increase)
[verse 2]
Shabbat Shalom, the truths of God,
wilt stand forevermore;
so be ye wise, against the lies,
His Torah doth implore.
Shabbat Shalom, the darkness falls,
upon the world and men;
yea, 'tis of old, that hearts be cold,
o'er lawlessness and sin.
(the iniquities of men)
[chorus]
Shalom! Shalom! Ye brethren fear,
and give thy souls to prayer;
ye shun the wants, and worldly taunts,
that wouldest ye despair.
Shalom! Shalom! O Yeshua,
Who giveth grace and peace;
yea, come ye now, unto Him bow,
and He shalt thee increase.
(thy good shalt He increase)
[verse 3]
Shabbat Shalom, ye wilt be tried,
and tempted to deny;
thy God above, Whose faithful love,
sent Yeshua to die.
Shabbat Shalom, commit thy ways,
unto the Lord and fear;
the consequence of providence,
so unto Him draw near.
(to Yeshua draw near)
[chorus]
Shalom! Shalom! Ye brethren fear,
and give thy souls to prayer;
ye shun the wants, and worldly taunts,
that wouldest ye despair.
Shalom! Shalom! O Yeshua,
Who giveth grace and peace;
yea, come ye now, unto Him bow,
and He shalt thee increase.
(thy good shalt He increase)
[verse 4]
Shabbat Shalom, give not to ways,
that wouldest e'er destroy;
the good ye do, but be ye true,
and ye wilt live with joy.
Shabbat Shalom, remember this,
ye servants of the Lord;
for Him ye live, to serve and give,
how great is thy reward!
(exceeding great reward)
[chorus]
Shalom! Shalom! Ye brethren fear,
and give thy souls to prayer;
ye shun the wants, and worldly taunts,
that wouldest ye despair.
Shalom! Shalom! O Yeshua,
Who giveth grace and peace;
yea, come ye now, unto Him bow,
and He shalt thee increase.
(thy good shalt He increase)
Amen! Amen! Amen!
