  • JESUS: THE MINDSET - WILLIAM BURCKSON

    JESUS: THE MINDSET

Jesus is more than our Saviour, healer, provider, and friend. He is the pattern for how we think.

In this message, we explore what it means to allow Jesus and the Word of God to shape our thinking, our decisions, our perspective, and the way we respond to the storms of life.

When our thinking is founded on the Word, we are no longer controlled by fear, anxiety, or merely human reasoning. We learn to see life through the lenses of Christ.

    The Word is our foundation.

    Jesus is our example.

Renewed thinking changes how we live.

  • SAMUEL: GOD BROKE THE SILENCE - TOBIE HEYNS

    SAMUEL: GOD BROKE THE SILENCE

In this message, we look at the calling of Samuel and how God began to restore His voice to His people. Israel was coming out of a season of chaos and spiritual decline, but the lamp of God had not yet gone out.

God was raising up Samuel for a new era where His people would be led by His voice. Samuel teaches us how to respond when God speaks:

    Listen.

    Respond to His Word.

    Humble yourself.

    Through Samuel, we see:

    From silence to speech.

    From cycles to continuity.

From a failing priesthood to a faithful prophet.

  • THE POWER OF INTERCESSION| HANDS LIFTED - CANDICE REARDON

    What happens when we pray?

In Exodus 17, Israel enters its first recorded battle after leaving Egypt. Joshua fights in the valley while Moses stands on the mountain with his hands lifted before God.

When Moses' hands become tired, Aaron and Hur come alongside him and hold his hands up until the battle is won.

This picture gives us a powerful understanding of intercessory prayer.

    Prayer is not passive.

    Prayer is partnership.

    Prayer is sometimes a battle.

And we were never meant to pray alone.

In this message, we look at Moses, Aaron and Hur as a picture of how God meets us in prayer, and how Jesus continues to intercede for us as our High Priest. We also explore the work of the Holy Spirit, who helps us in our weakness when we don't know what to pray.

Ultimately, Moses builds an altar and calls it Jehovah-Nissi: The Lord is My Banner.

When the battle comes, He is our rallying point, our defender and our refuge.

  • HEAVEN WAITS FOR YOU TO PRAY - CANDICE REARDON

What if prayer is not simply asking God to do something, but partnering with Him to see His will established on earth?

In this message, "Heaven Waits for You to Pray," we begin a new series on Intercessory Prayer and explore what it means for the Church to truly become a House of Prayer.

If God is sovereign, why do we need to pray? Because prayer is not in competition with the sovereignty of God. It is one of the ways God has chosen to accomplish His purposes on the earth.

Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." The Church is called to stand in the gap, interceding for people, communities and the world around us.

We look at: • Why prayer matters if God is sovereign • What it means to be a House of Prayer • The biblical meaning of intercession • What it means to "stand in the gap" • The authority Jesus has given His Church • Priestly and kingly intercession • How we can partner with God through prayer • Why our prayers matter, even when we don't immediately see the results

Prayer is both a responsibility and a privilege. We have been invited to come before God, cry out, intercede and see His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Heaven waits for you to pray.
