Dr. Jacquie Bowen ([email protected]) owned and operated a private practice in Greeley CO for 28 years, and partnered with MyEyeDr in late 2021. She and her husband have two grown sons, one who is married and recently provided her first grand baby! She is a past president of the Colorado Optometric Association (COA) and served on the COA Board from 1998-2005. She is a member of the Northern Colorado Optometric Society, the charter secretary/treasurer of the Colorado Optometric Glaucoma Society, and a legislative keyperson to Colorado. Dr. Bowen was awarded the Colorado Young Optometrist of the Year in 2000, Colorado Optometrist of the Year in 2012, Colorado Distinguished Service Award in 2023, and one of Vision Monday’s “Most Influential Women in Optical” in 2024.
Dr. Bowen was initially elected to the American Optometric Association Board of Trustees at Optometry's Meeting® in July 2016 and will be installed as President of the AOA at Optometry’s Meeting in June 2025 in Minneapolis.
