The songs "Forest, "My Brother Had Said," and "Winter's Eve & Werewolf" make appearances as we debate the pros and cons of new mixes.

A different tempo is explored for the "Home" song, after which we promise a new key for "Eliza Rhodes," but fail to deliver. Why? Because I erased the master tapes to everything I have done so far. More on that in the next episode, though- I'm sure!

We took a break from the podcasts while we finished up a couple of other projects (four EP's in total!), but rest assured progress was still being made on the fourth record! In this episode we give a little taste of the EP's that we wrapped up, and look forward to the next episodes which will be all about the recording of the fourth record!

Learning how to use several different metronomes slowed down recording this time, but the end result is pretty interesting to say the least.

Long time fans will know the song "Winter's Eve & Werewolf," originally submitted for a contest. The song gets some lyrical tweeks in hopes of placing it on the third record!

After a hiatus caused by holidays and the dreaded shingles (am I THAT old?!), work on the third record picks up again with a new recording of "Hand Me Downs."

After a brief hiatus to move and set up the new studio, we're back with more sound experiments. First, we try out a bunch of drum sounds- one drum kit, five mics and some EQ tweaking. Then, the electric guitar is brought out for the first time on this record to see how it affects "My Brother Had Said."
