In this episode we talk about computer games that we remember and then wake up some memories of caffeinated beverages

In the first part of this episode we hack into some fond memories of computer games, Sam starts off by talking about his families first computer that had games like mine sweeper and “Rodents Revenge”. Then he talks about a handful of games he remembers from childhood including Neverhood,Roller Coaster Tycoon, Lego Racers (2) and Small soldiers. Next Ryan Segways into a classic strategy game, Age of Empires and his mission to save all of the sheep. Cheat codes become the next topic of discussion because, Who doesn’t like to play god one in a while.Ryan unlocks some memories about locking the butler in the freezer in TomeRaider 2. Then we talk about educational games and Ryan goes off about Zoombinis. Graham finishes off this segment remenisceing about some text based “Oregon Trail type of game” that he remembers playing with his friend. Then he tells us about a family friend who hooked him up with all sorts of tech goodies, resulting in 10 year old Graham rewiring his entire basement. Then he digs up Sherlock Holmes the Video video game. He raves about a popular puzzle game “Mist” and a few other related games.

In the second portion of this one we wake up with a chat about caffeine. Graham starts us off with a JOLT, then he talks about JOSTA COLA, which sends us on a tangent about Dr. Pepper flavors? Then Graham share more stories of being a precocious young lad and running a VIRGIN COLA ring out of the back of his van. We tangent about coffee and how we got our start. Sam talks mostly about energy drinks. He tells the tail of caffeine overload in high school. Graham remembers his Dad’s car smelling like stale coffee and how that influenced his love of coffee. We talk about coffee vs tea for a bit and go off on a tangent about translating  English words into Japanese words… it was a fun one!

In this episode we chat about our old cars or lack there of, and then summon a conversation about card games.

In the first half of this episode we tinker with some memories of our old vehicles and some memories of not having cars. Ryan starts us off by talking about his shocking lack of a vehicle until he turned 27, But his family had cars and they had creative nicknames like Little Yellow and Big Red. He makes clear that he was very picky about the transmission on his first car. Stick shift only! Next Sam tells the terrifying truth about his car maintenance habits… if you are reading this… Change your oil. Do it. Finally Graham explains that he is a car person, at least there is one among us. He looks back at all of the random car his dad had and then remembers his mom’s talking car “MARK”. There is plenty of silly Carversation in this portion

In the second half we play our hands in a chat about card games. Sam starts this section off by scratching the surface on the topic of Pokemon. After Graham goes on a wild tangent of Gen Z words Ryan dives into his younger days of Pokemon…. By singing the final verse of the poke-rap and then explains how he got stuck in the middle of the Magic the Gathering craze starting in the UK and ending in Japan. Finally Graham runs out the clock with some fun memories of Baseball cards and a guy who owned a sports memorabilia store named Mr… Big? Mr… K? the world may never know. Then he quickly explains a unique card game called Wyvern, This game is like a dragon specific version of Pokemon… or Magic or maybe DND. 

The early morning recording session brought out some silly conversations!

In this episode we remember an assortment of toys that we used to love and then we talk about snow, Snow days, Blizzards, etc. 

In the first part of this episode we play around with some memories of toys that we used to love, Ryan starts us out by diving into his memory banks for a toy called 2XL, A little robot toy that tested your memory skills with a mysterious combination of magic and technology. This inspired his career in robotics! Next Graham builds his topic with colorful bricks of memory in a conversation about LEGOs, We dive into just how many innovations LEGO has made. From motors to microchips. This topic could have an episode of its own… And maybe it will ;). Last, Sam races into his topic of HOTWHEELS. Miles of orange track and hundreds of D batteries lead strait to a fun fast paced chat that ends with us discussing Micro Machines. 

In the second half we cool things off with a chat about Snow. Snow days, Blizzards and deep snow in general. Graham starts us off by reminiscing about the Colorado Blizzard of 1997, Cars were buried, doors were blocked and streets were a mess. Then he goes on to talk about the Blizzard of 2003 in Colorado. This sparks Sam’s topic which is also the 2003 Blizzard in Colorado. He remembers building all sorts of fun snow forts, Igloos and caves. Finally Ryan reminds us that he did not grow up in the United States. He tells us of the soot factory in England and tiny snow men in Japan. But finally he gets into his time in the US where he FINALLY got some blizzard action. In St Paul Minnesota it snowed so hard that the roof of their football stadium caved in. Then he tells us of another time where there was so much snow that people were struggling to drive. Ryan and his friend went out and scored some karma points by helping push peoples stuck cars out of the snow.

In this episode we look back and remember childhood pets then we take a dive into Legends Of The Hidden Temple

In the first part of this episode we take a look back at some fond memories of childhood pets. Graham starts us off with stories of his guinea pig that gave birth from immaculate conception, then he tells about his childhood dogs, Yellow Snow and Scooter. Next Sam reminisces about his big fluffy dog Leroy and how he came to be their dog. Then we discuss dogs being afraid of random things. Finally Ryan recalls having SO MANY Cats. He sheds some light on how he had multiple cats named Jack. 

In the second half of this episode we deep dive into the classic kids show, Legends Of The Hidden Temple. We go through the teams, The Trials, The Host, Ect. Eventually we went off on a tangent about other “Game Show” style tv shows. Thanks for the suggestion Nick!

In this episode reminisce about Baby Sitters and Camping,

In the first part of this episodes we look back and remember baby sitters. Sam opens things up with a memory about an irresponsible baby sitter stunk up the house for days, then he peels back the layers on the story of a prank he pulled on a baby sitter that ended in a whole new wardrobe. Next a young Graham takes a roof top adventure by himself, Then he tells us the tale of a long lost movie (The Goonies). Finally he spills the beans on an underground day care operation. Finally Ryan shows off for his childhood baby sitter, who shows up later in life to join his family on their family vacation. Then we discuss in length the reasons why teenage boys are often overlooked for babysitting jobs. 

In part 2 we have an intense conversation about camping, Graham kicks things off with a fun memory of his “ Shaggin Wagon” and a dirty dog, Then he takes us on a journey with a story of his family friends who took him on camping trips all summer long. Next Ryan goes to the boundary waters. Then he goes jeeping in an urban vehicle, they do a long hike to their campsite which ends up being a loop back to the parking lot  Finally Sam takes us to church (camp) he discusses a camping experience with a church group that led him out into the woods, After several days of gourmet meals they made their way back to society. Then he tells a more recent story of camping in train cars in the Lake District of England.

In this episode get spooky for the halloween season, Fun costumes we remember wearing and then ZOMBIES

In the first part of this episodes we slip on our sexiest podcast costumes, Sam talks hulks out with a memory of his favorite costume, The Incredible Hulk, He also talks catering his costumes to his appearance, Most recently Hagrid from Harry Potter. Graham locks things in with a slutty prisoner costume he also talks about inconvenient sized costumes. Ryan discusses trick or treating in Japan and then explains all of his wild and creative costumes that no-one understands, He strikes a chord with his Arnold Schwarzenegger dress as Bach. 

In part 2 we talk about the wide world of zombies. Ryan looks back at his college days, when zombies were running rampant. Zombie Land, Left for dead. Then he plans for an his friends apocalypse experience with everything except the essentials. We then go on a tangent about fake words.. Next Sam talks about his best friends fear of the walking dead and his plan for survival. Then goes on to explain his favorite video game Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Nazi zombies. Finally Graham carries on the video game conversation with The Zombies ate my neighbors, then dives into the deep topic of Walking Dead Television show.

In this episode get spooky for the halloween season, We talk all about scary movies and about haunted houses. 

In the first part of episode 12 turn down the lights and tune into a conversation about Spooky movies, Graham opens up with a cult classic “They Live” this portion of the pod is packed with spoilers so if you are concerned about spoilers for 20-40 year old movies…. Too bad.. Next Ryan gives us a plot twist with a conversation about “ The Sixth Sense”.. which leads to a long chat about how bad of a movie “OLD” was.. if you disagree… maybe this podcast isn’t for you… Finally. Sam is scarred for life by a strange and esoteric movie that his family found in the family section at block buster called “ My Teacher Ate My Homework”.. He quickly mentions Halloween town and then takes a hard turn and talks abut the SAW movies. 

In Part 2 of this episode we open the door and walk cautiously into the topic of Haunted Houses. Sam starts explaining his (mostly) irrational hatred of haunted houses. No amount of convincing will get him through those heavy web laden doors. Graham counters Sam’s fears by saying that he loves the rush and anticipation of a good haunted house, He explains the Elitch Gardens frightfest haunted house that was “actually scary”. Ryan shocks us all with tales of strange and slightly provacative experiences that he had inside of assorted haunted houses.

In this episode we talk about books and sleep overs

In the first part of episode 11 we dive into the deep and rich topic of books. Ryan starts us off by remembering Artemis Fowl a series of books about fairies and magic, he explains how disappointing the movie interpretation was. Then he tells us about another series of books called The Bartimaeus Trilogy. Graham inspects his memory banks with The Hardy Boys and then unlocks a core memory in all of us! REDWALL! Finally Sam has a difficult time deciding what books to talk about, he sparks it off with The Bailey School Kids and then shifts to the enchanting Harry Potter series. Sam finishes on a solemn note with the Series Of Unfortunate Events.

In Part 2 of this episode we get cozy for a conversation about sleep overs. Ryan jumps into action with this topic and furthers our conversation about Harry Potter and his memory of a silent book reading that he partook in with some less than likely sleep over companions, Then he races to tell us about making a soapbox racer from an old pork store sign, and making intentionally gross concoctions to taste test. Next Sam looks back at how much him and his friends played the Halo games. Master Chief was apparently one of his main sleep over memories. Then he tells a cheeky little story about breaking the rules while watching his neighbors house. Finally Graham recalls a lovely marriage between two children and how it ended in the hospital with severe burns. Then he tells about how he ALMOST got his first kiss.

Another fun one in the books!

In Episode 10 we tune into some live action TV shows from our past.

Sam starts off talking about Gilligan's Island and then dives into Disney Channel Originals like That’s So Raven and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Ryan follows the pattern of one and channel by starting off remembering Mr. Belvedere and then clicks over to Nickelodeon, discussing Amanda Bynes, Sister sister, Smart Guy and some other child hood favorites. Graham  finishes off part one by telling us about his love Magnum P.I and MacGyver and then reminisces about TGIF and all of the fun shows that we all know and love!

In part two we get wet and wild with a conversation about Water Fights.

Ryan helps clean up the food fair with the promise of a school sponsored water balloon fight and then has 1 v 1 water fights with his childhood friend. Graham raves about SUPERSOAKERS and all of their glory, He designs some epic dream blasters of his own while his friend comes up with some less… acceptable designs. Sam finishes off the episode with some water fight stories involving the neighborhood kids, things get serious when war crimes start happening. Then we go on a tangent about Senior pranks.. it’s all fun and games until someone gets water boarded by a garden hose.

Episode 9 was a fun one. by far the most explicit episode to date. If you do not like swear words then this is probably not the episode for you

In part one of episode 9 we had a lovely conversation about childhood snacks. Ryan flys back to the UK to remember delicious cookies and crisps, Sam remembers yogurt beads and frosted animal crackers and Graham heats things up with hot pockets and toaster pastries.

In Part two we get real with a chat about swear words. Graham brings the laughs with memories of recording himself swearing and playing it back at chipmunk speed. Sam waits till highschool to unleash his foul mouth and Ryan makes an educational poster about what words not to say in explicit detail.

Again this is a swear heavy episode, we had a ton of fun recording it but if you don't approve.... too bad.
