NOT MY STYLE - this is my response to the allegations that I am responsible for putting a KY legislator on blast!

In my short time in politics I can't express how many times I have had to say to a legislator "thats not my style." This phrase has never been more accurate than it is in regards to the most recent situation in which someone sent out documents notifying the KY legislature of one of it's members having described themselves as "trans" in a magazine publication well over a decade ago.

I had planned on not doing a show discussing this situation b/c I wanted it to be clear that I was not the perpetrator but as of yesterday the information was made publicly on various social media outlets and therefore I feel that I must address the rumors I my involvement. I also have attempted to reach out to the legislator that has been put on blast with these allegations and haven't heard back from them.

This gives us a great opportunity to discuss my personal communication methods with elected officials as well as how if I had been the person to uncover this information how I would have handled it.

But the music they producs is the Common Ground that can bridge the gap between the two communities they represent. By using excerpts from Joe Rogan's recent podcast with Oliver Anthony along with the lyrics from Roddy Ricch's song "Letter to My Son" I will explain how I think we are in the middle of a cultural awakening in which we are going to see the same sons that have dealt with the emotional ups and downs of not having their own fathers around become the fathers that this country needs them to be in order for it to survive. This is a very personal episode for me but it is necessary b/c the Common Ground that music provides is something this world desperately needs right now. Oliver Anthony's RADICAL TRANSPARENCY exhbited in a personal introduction on social media should bring anyone with a conscience to tears. Also, my reaction to Oliver Anthony's new song "I've got to get Sober" is just another example of how this country is thirsting for RADICAL TRANSPARENCY from it's influencers and politicians.
