Refocus isn’t just about where our attention is; it’s about how we live. Jesus reminds us that greatness in His Kingdom looks like serving others. He didn’t come to be served, but to serve and give His life for us. As we refocus on the Lord Jesus, let’s look for simple ways to put others first and serve as He did.

Refocusing on Jesus means remembering that following Him was never meant to stop with us. In Matthew 4:17-22, Jesus called ordinary people to follow Him and become “fishers of men.” Wherever God has placed us, at home, at work, at school, or in our community, we have a place to disciple. As we follow Jesus, we help others take their next step toward Him too.

It’s easy to let uncertainty about what’s next take over our focus. But in Joshua 1:1-9, God reminds Joshua that he doesn’t have to have every step figured out; he is to stay focused on God and follow where He leads.

This week we begin our new series, Refocus. In Deuteronomy 6:1-9, God reminds His people that spiritual growth isn’t just for Sunday, it also happens in the everyday moments of life. As we love God and keep His Word to speak it and live it out, our faith grows deeper and our impact grows wider. This week, ask the Lord to refocus your heart on Him and commit again to the places He wants to grow you and your family.

As we live for the King’s return, we live with confident hope. Revelation 21 reminds us that the day is coming when Jesus will make all things new, and we will be with Him forever. No more pain, no more tears, only the joy of His presence. Keep your eyes on the King and let the promise of eternity shape the way you live today.

Jesus calls His followers to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Our lives should reflect His love, truth, and hope so that others are drawn to Him. When we faithfully live for Christ, our good works don’t point to us, they point people to our Heavenly Father. This week, ask God to help you shine brightly and bring Him glory in all you do.

As we continue our Living for the King’s Return series, Revelation 5 reminds us that our future is centered on worship. John is given a glimpse of heaven where every creature bows before the risen Jesus, the Lamb who alone is worthy to open the scroll. We are awaiting the Savior/King who gave His life for us. As we wait for His return, our lives are to be marked by worship and proclamation of who He is to us.

As we begin our journey through Revelation, everything starts with one clear focus: seeing the King. Before the prophecies, symbols, and visions, John introduces us to Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the risen King, and the One who is coming again. Revelation 1:1-8 reminds us that history is not out of control; it is in the hands of the Alpha and the Omega. As we fix our eyes on King Jesus, we find hope, confidence, and the courage to live faithfully while we wait for His return.

The Lord Jesus is coming again! We don’t know the day or the hour, but we do know how we’re called to live. Paul reminds us to stay awake, live with purpose, encourage one another, pursue holiness, and go with the Good News!

Live ready to welcome our returning King.

This week we continue our journey through Unstoppable Joy by looking at the joy found in grace-centered relationships through Philemon 1. Paul reminds us that the gospel doesn’t just change our relationship with God—it transforms how we relate to one another. Grace enables forgiveness, reconciliation, and genuine Christian fellowship. When Christ is at the center of our relationships, we experience a joy that goes beyond circumstances and reflects the love we have first received from Him. May we be people who extend grace freely, just as grace has been freely given to us.
