New(ish) to the WS Campus Center is the Technology Resource Center or I-Lab, just behind the cafeteria and stairs. With Oculus Rift VR systems, podcast and WebEx facilities, video recording, and a set of PCs and printers, this center has just about anything you'd need to enjoy all the technology WCSU offers. We'll also be talking about the WCSU App available for your smart phone and learn why ITI hopes you'll use it!

It's much harder to live with someone than you think - especially because most of us don't really talk to each other any longer, nor do we usually have to share space. So what do we do when we have something that's bugging us about our roommate - their music, their neatness, the people they bring in the room at all hours? Listen in as we try to provide some hints about how to make things better when you're living with someone new.

This idea of living on your own is, perhaps, a little overwhelming. It might be helpful to listen as we share a few thoughts about what this is like. Topics will include cooking and cleaning, getting along with roommates, how to get things fixed, and doing your own laundry. It will be great fun! Really. (Except for perhaps the cleaning.)

The Human Library is an event intended to create dialogue between very different individuals who might otherwise never meet. The movement started almost 20 years ago in Denmark, and events have now been held in over 800 countries. In the end, its goal is to promote understanding and greater tolerance. Tune in to hear about what to expect at the event, which is scheduled for October 1, 2019. Our guest is the coordinator, Julie Hunter.
