September is recognized as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day. In honor of those observances last month, Kauai Bible Church is making TODAY our Suicide Prevention Sunday. We rejoice over John 1:4 that declares that Jesus is both life and light to the world. We are honored to have special guest speaker, Dr. Kenneth “Lou” Koon, join us today to share a message of hope and strength for those who have been affected by depression and/or suicide. Dr. Koon is a pastor, chaplain, and nationally recognized expert on suicide prevention.
