The Bible is full of beautiful, descriptive, rich, and wonderful truths! It also has some rather… odd… stories than by themselves leave readers with more questions than answers. Passages which on the surface standout as being weird, funny, confusing, or all of the above. This series dives into some of those unique stories to help us mine for the Truth within the curious.
Today we look at the story of Israel complaining about manna and getting more meat to eat than they bargained for. It’s a cautionary tale for us today about learning to Trust God, even in the waiting.

There are certain core beliefs that are so vital to the Christian faith that without them you cease to be a Christian. This series is meant to help us discern which doctrines are non-negotiable (closed-hand) and which ones leave room for conversations and questions (open-hand). Today is our last sermon in this series and we will look at what the Bible tells us our responsibilities are with the doctrines we hold.

This series is meant to help us discern which doctrines are non-negotiable (closed-hand) and which ones leave room for conversations and questions (open-hand). Today we look at the reality that sin is not just something we do or embrace (idolatry), but it’s actually our condition. Thanks to the sin of Adam we are now sinful people who try to justify sin instead of repent of it. Today we look at a number of ways we try to cover or justify our sin, but will discover that Jesus is the only justification we need.
