We Are Builders!

It's been a MILLION YEARS, but we're back in action! Clara, Molly, and Kyla walk us through the ADVENTUROUS weeks before spring break, including catapults, our play, staff Living History Day, our first annual 4th grade Fairy Tale Day, and our "change the world" genius hour projects!

Theo, Sarita, and Mia talk about our math task (Leo the Rabbit,) our field trip to the Tippecanoe Battlefield, our school's Veteran's Day program, Thanksgiving Roll-a-Stories, the intro to our ENERGY unit, AND learning about the first peoples of Indiana!

Knox and Daniel teach us about crowd scientists, studying fossil records, the Indiana statewide essay contest, the start of our Global Read-Aloud, fort building, spooky First Look Fridays, AND Red Ribbon Week dress-up days! WHEW, we're tired!

Our week consisted of lots of routines and catching up on things, but we still squeezed in some fun things to talk about! From building Lego maps of Indiana to exploring erosion with "sand tables," from multiplication strategies to "First Look Fridays," and explaining more about our houses and early finisher options, the kids had a lot to say!

We'll be back in a few weeks, after fall break and end-of-quarter assessments wrap up and we start our second nine weeks!
