God has not given you any fear. He releases Love, power and a transformed mind. Father is not in the business of terror

Hope isn't a wish, it's a new way of seeing things. Jesus said to repent - to change the way you think - so you can see the Kingdom. Hope does that!

Salvation—theosis—is the process of being transformed by God’s love into his image.

We can’t “lose” that salvation. But we can resist it. We have a choice. We can choose to cooperate with God and allow him to do his purifying work in us. Or we can choose to push back against his love and remain as we are.

In contrast to the coercive God of Calvinism and Molinism, the God revealed in Jesus is one of kenosis—a Greek word meaning “emptying” or “self giving” that comes from Philippians 2:7:

"Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God,

did not regard equality with God

as something to be exploited,

but emptied [ekenōsen] himself,

taking the form of a slave,

being born in human likeness.

And being found in human form,

he humbled himself

and became obedient to the point of death—

even death on a cross." (Philippians 2:5–8. NRSV)

Throughout the New Testament, one of the most important themes is that of God’s forgiveness of our sins:

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us. (Ephesians 1:7–8, NRSV)

Just as all humans are children of God, so too do we all share in a single human nature. Humanity stands or falls together.

"For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:21–22, NRSV)

We are all God’s children. All of humanity is created in His image. If this is true then why do we leave some folks out? Is there an elect or are we all all God's wounded children?
