This week Pastor Brown continues his study of Genesis, with one of the most important chapters in the Word of God. Chapter 3 covers the fall of man from Eden, how the fall refutes Darwin's theory of evolution, and how it relates to mans current condition on the earth.

Marriage is a covenant, a joining. Two become one in marriage and any marriage not built on this principle is bound to fail. In our covenant with God, what's ours is His and He is Lord. He created tithing as His financial plan. By returning to Him what is already His, we ensures His blessing on our lives. Holding onto what's His, however, ensures the exact opposite.

Pastor Brown continues his study on Genesis with the Big Bang Theory and how it relates to Creation, and takes a look at where the Bible says man was created in God's image.

It's not enough for God to just be first in your life. He needs to be the only one. Anything less than all is unacceptable, because for you to be completely committed in your covenant with Him there needs to be a death of self in an old way of living.

Pastor Brown continues his series on Genesis and the basics of Christianity with a breakdown and analysis of the theory of evolution, and the relationship between science and theology.

That "in-love" feeling doesn't last forever. Once it fades, real love needs to take root, otherwise the relationship will wither and die. Real love takes work, time, and discipline. It needs pursuit and an act of will. Our relationship with Jesus is the same. Focus on what matters. Make time to spend with Him. Talk to Him. Keep your First Love alive.

Pastor Brown begins a 6-week series studying the book of Genesis and the creation of the world. Tonights lesson encompasses the the etymology of Genesis, it's authorship, and the different theories of the creation of the world and mankind.

We were created to have a relationship with God. We are His first love above all else, and He desires to be ours. Satan knows when our relationship is real. His favorite thing is to turn our relationship into a ritual. Stay vigilant. Talk to God. Keep your relationship with Him as your first priority.

Why? Why do you get up in the morning? What drives you? We were created, and hardwired, to have a purpose. Without one we feel empty, incomplete. Jesus was sent with a purpose. It was his meat. It sustained him. When He left, He sent, and equipped us for the same mission:

"Go."

God deeply values communication. It's the key to our relationship with him. Prayer is that line of communication. It's time spent with Him, alone, with no hindrances around you. Get into that secret place, grow your faith and your relationship.
