Human nature is rebellious. We think we need to help God out with His plan, kind of tweak it to make it better, but all God wants from us is obedience. If we simply obey Him, the miracle we need begins to appear on the horizon.

In this final chapter in the study of the book of James, we read that a mature believer is prayerful in times of troubles. He is patient in his trial, relying on his relationship with God to see him through.

As Christians, we are trees of life. And as trees, we need to continuously be growing, via our relationship with Christ, in order to bear fruit, for our fruit is what makes us attractive to the world.

Continuously there is a war trying to rage within us between our flesh and the Spirit of God. If these wars are allowed to wage, strife and discord will manifest within us, creating a wedge between us, God, and our church family.

Through prayer there is unity, and with unity there is power. God isn't looking for someone with the best tools and the perfect talents to complete his will, all He needs is someone to agree with it. When we agree with Him and submit completely to Him, therein lies His blessings and power.
