The second Mitchell County Tourism Summit is March 19. Tourism Development Authority Director Kelly Jones joins us to talk about the summit and the unveiling of a new branding initiative for Mitchell County tourism along with what they expect from tourism for the area in 2026.

Damage to the streams, land, and trees, is a legacy that Helene has left in Western North Carolina.
