“Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

When it comes to all the different options you can get in life, what matters most is QUALITY vs. QUANTITY. How can you feed your faith so that it propels you forward instead of pulls you back?

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.”

Y'all ever get THE look from your mom or dad? You know what we're talking about. It's THE look! The look that says "I'm gonna murder you if you don't shape up right now!" There was a look kinda like that in the Bible too, a LOOK that Jesus gave Peter in Mark 14.

What does it look like to be brave? In the bible, we see mighty warriors like King David who fearlessly battled hundreds of super scary enemies. Or Queen Esther, who (knowing it might end her life) went before the King of Persia on behalf of her people.

In 2024, being brave might look a little different, but the Promises of God are still the same and we too, can be mighty warriors.
