This week's show opens with three players from Bishop Foley High School's boys team after defeating thier arch rivals from Shrine for the first time in eleven years, making a solid case for the MSC/We Are Soccer Team of the Week. After that, Robert Kerr reviews last weekend's Detroit City FC scoreless draw against Indy Eleven with head coach Trevor James and midfielder Brad Dunwell. The episode concludes with Indy Eleven director of content Ian Gilmour, who earlier this season was shooting photos and video for Detroit City. Gilmour talks City, Indy Eleven, and college soccer thanks to his experience doing play-by-play for Michigan State during his college years.

Robert Kerr is joined by Saline High School mainstay Ryan Williams to start this week's show. Williams is beginning his seventh season as Saline's boys' soccer head coach and his 17th season overall with the program. He discusses his journey in Ann Arbor and the upcoming season filled with high expectations. After that, Detroit City FC head coach Trevor James comes on the pod to take stock of Le Rouge's first season in the USL Championship and to look ahead to the rest of the season, starting with this weekend's home clash with Indy Eleven.

It's a big week for high school soccer as Robert Kerr presents two different perspectives of the embryonic season. Detroit Catholic Central's Kyle Pearson drops in to recap his team's preseason successes and West Bloomfield's first year head coach Borce Kosteski joins the pod to look at how his new head coaching gig with the Lakers is kicking off.

Robert Kerr welcomes Salvatore Vilardi to the show this week. Salvatore is the GM of United West FC, a club joining the UPSL for next season. As the first club in the league from outside of Metro Detroit, they have a lot of unique challenges ahead of them and Salvatore and his team are ready for the challenge.

Robert Kerr welcomes Detroit City FC attacking midfielder Connor Rutz to the show to discuss his Commerce Township roots and how he went from playing at the junior college level all the way to the USL Championship. After that, Tim Hileman, President and CEO of Special Olympics Michigan joins the pod to look back on the Unified Cup Finals that were played at Keyworth Stadium this past weekend.

Host Robert Kerr has a lot to do on this week's episode. He begins his duties by chatting with Andy Wagstaff, head coach of the Flint City Bucks, who just fell in the USL League Two National Semifinal. Next up is Joey Verhelle, founder of Troy United of the NPSL. Troy United and Michigan Soccer Central are hosting a foot volley tournmanet on Saturday, August 6 at Dodge Park in Sterling Heights. Robert Kerr welcomes a couple returning guests on this week's show with Inter Detroit co-owner Edwin Jimenez popping in to talk about his team's dramatic win over Lansing Common to claim the top spot in the Midwest Premier League's Eastern Conference and Michael Dublis from The Soccer Rebellion to promote his tour of pop-up street soccer tournaments. Their next event is at The Corner Ballpark in Detroit on August 6.

Robert Kerr has a brief chat with Kalamazoo FC head coach Shane Lyons after his side's 4-2 victory over Oakland County FC to win the USL League 2 Great Lakes Division for a second consecutive season. After that, Lansing Common broadcaster Luca Melloni returns to the show to look ahead to the club's showdown with Inter Detroit for the Midwest Premier League East Division crown.

First up is Muskegon head coach Stuart Collins and the team's captain and central defender Elliott Bentley. That NPSL duo is followed up by Dave Shufelt, owner of USL League 2's Kalamazoo FC.

Robert Kerr welcomes Oakland County FC head coach Vinnie Vasilevski back to the show to talk about his team's victory over the Flint City Bucks to take home the Michigan Milk Cup. After that, Sean Spence comes back on the show to discuss Detroit City finally picking up another win last weekend as well as how the women's team has looked during their first season in the USL W-League.
