Sanctification, when it’s used in connection with the Holy Spirit, has to do with the work of God in usto make us the kind of representative that He wants down on this earth. But sanctification when it’s used with the person of Christ, it’s not a condition, but a position that we have in Christ. And He was the just, and He took the place of the unjust that He might bring us to God. And He’s brought us now into the family of God. And in the family of God, He’s not ashamed to call them brethren, because we all become sons of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
