Before we dive into this journey together, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a survivor—of child abuse and domestic violence. My childhood was marred by the absence of love, safety, and belonging. I felt invisible, unheard, and too often, I was lost in a storm of neglect and pain. These experiences shaped how I viewed myself, relationships, and the world around me. As I grew older, I found myself in a relationship that seemed to offer what I had always sought—connection, care, and security. But the reality was far from what it seemed. Beneath the surface lurked the shadows of domestic violence, an oppressive cycle that left me feeling trapped and voiceless. The journey to break free and heal has been arduous. It’s meant confronting the deep scars left by years of trauma, but here I am, standing before you not as a victim, but as a warrior—and PVT, my co-host, is right here with me in this fight. PVT brings their own unique story, their strength, and their voice to this platform. Together, we are united in our mission: to create a safe haven for survivors.
