Building on the idea that we do not travel The Brave Way Home alone, we suggest that there are 3 key discipleship relationships that mark the life of a wayfarer in an ongoing way. Everybody needs a Paul. Everybody needs a Timothy. And everybody needs a Barnabus. This episode is a conversation about how to identify, install and encourage those roles in your life, as well as a call to embody them to fellow wayfarers around you.

In this episode we sit down with Phil and Marcia Miller, two individuals who have had such an impact on the stories of each person in our family. Phil and Marcia are our marriage mentors, our kids' pastors and friends, and they are fellow wayfarers who have journeyed faithfully alongside us in so many seasons. Phil is currently serving as the President of The Brave Way Home's Board and Marcia is serving as an Advisory Committee member.

Matt and Kelsea Mays are fellow wayfarers that have walked with us through moments of deep sorrow and deep joy, but our moments together have been marked by extravagant love. In this episode, the Mays share how Calla played an important role in their wedding and how the vision of The Brave Way Home is playing out in their lives and hearts.

How do we develop and foster the deep relationships we need in our circle? In this episode, we discuss some invitations to community and how to surmount the obstacles that may stand in the way of finding the fellow-wayfarers we need on our journey Homeward.

In this episode we introduce you to fellow-wayfarers, Shane and Meagan White. This episode is heavy at times (Meagan shares her deep experience with our family at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and her own grief in processing Calla's rescue to Heaven), but it is also hopeful and infused with purpose as the Whites share their beautiful hearts and "belligerent" hope. This episode is also the longest we've recorded, so feel free to listen as you have time...we just couldn't share how their stories intersect with ours without sharing the hope that has come from it and the deep longing for the Homeland ahead.
