We know we left you hanging for a bit but we promise it was for several good reasons.

We recently brought on a co-host, the talented Caleb Cummings from Salt & Light Visuals/Keyside Visuals. Caleb's insight, talent, and warm heart are a perfect match to go along with already host Ramsey Coates to take this podcast to the next level.

We also got a new venue to record our episodes in and new podcast art.

We now record in the bridal suite at Live Oak Plantation which is one of the most beautiful venues to have your wedding and reception at on the Gulf Coast and, Mason Guttery from Harpoon Design & Marketing cooked up this wonderful podcast cover for us in a matter of days for our podcast re-brand.

As for this episode which is the first of the re-brand, we have the wonderful Brenda Carraway (The God-Momma) & Brandi Wallace (Killer B) from the Bridal Loft. The Bridal Loft is located at 4400 Bayou Boulevard in Cordova Square in Pensacola, Florida. They are a bridal store that offers anything, a bride, her mother, her flower girls, and her bridesmaids need to wear on the wedding day.

In this laughter filled episode with Brenda & Brandi, they fill us in on how The Bridal Loft came about, why you must strive to be number one in anything you do in life, never giving up even when a cat 4 hurricane hits your town, tips about who to bring with you when you are looking for your "yes dress" and tons more tidbits about being a successful small business in a niche market.

Kelly planted the seed of Southern Frills three years ago after planning her own wedding. That, along with inspiration from being an assistant coordinator for a few event spaces in Pensacola, encouraged her to start her own business. 

Since then, Southern Frills has blossomed, keeping Kelly busy organizing, creating and really honing in on the vision of her clients/couples. She loves to broadcast each couples' unique love story for their special day.

Kelly is cool, calm, and always keeps a smile on her face. Whether her help is throughout the whole planning process, or through the month of, she loves to assist couples in creating and carrying out their dream day!

Although Meg has gone through grad school for music and worked in state positions, photography has been with her since she was a child and has slowly grown from being her side hustle to now, it has become her full-time position with her blossoming business, Meg Burke Photography. 

In her business, Meg strives to make the big day right for the couple. She's even willing to stand up for any bride or groom that may need it. She is fierce in loyalty when it comes to her couples. Meg's boldness shines brighter when she's talking about her work with non-profits, or her women empowerment movement. She believes that we can all be comfortable in our own skin and we can embrace our individual beauty. 

Meg Burke is a strong, talented woman who remains focused not only on her business but also on coaching and encouraging the newcomers of the wedding photography industry. She's the type of person that can be best described as one with a golden heart.

Welcome to the first ~official~ We Are Wed Talks podcast! Our goal for this podcast is to inform you, the listener, with stories from all types of people in the wedding industry. We'll be shining lights on vendors, brides, you name it, all to give YOU the inside scoop. 

Our guest this week is the ever-humble Caleb Cummings from Salt & Light Visuals. 
Caleb grew up on the Gulf Coast and learned photography/videography at school, although he didn't initially pursue it as a career. After working for a corporation for six years, he quit his job and began to follow his photography dream. He started Key Side Visuals, a real estate photography business. After two years, he began shooting weddings; he fell in love.

Salt & Light Visuals is the master of their craft. With a dream team of photographers, videographers, and administration, the small, grass-rooted company is well on their way to the top. Through the pressures of wedding photography they're still able to produce beautiful content with an amazing turn-around. Their passion for what they do shows in the first 10 minutes of meeting them; they'll travel anywhere for a wedding!
