The time has come the walrus said...to do your civic duty and make it f*cking count! Jules and Genesis get together to talk about one of the most important, if not the most important, election in history. With anxieties running high about the economy, the coronavirus pandemic, systemic racism and equal rights, the ladies get together to discuss how the election will impact the LGBTQ community. Through the serious matters they cover, you'll learn more about "The Rainbow Wave" of politicians who are many of our nation's first LGBTQ elected officials as well as what a potential second term under Trump would mean for the LGBTQ community (UGH!). They also highlight two LGBTQ politicians: Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot (D-Illinois) and Senate nominee for the 1st District of Delaware Sarah McBride.
The ladies along with Producer Leslie round out the episode with a classic game of "Who Said What: Biden vs Trump Edition." Stay tuned for resources for the upcoming election and ways you can get involved as well as a wonderful blooper to distract you from all of the existential dread we probably all are experiencing at the moment.

And just when everyone thought the world couldn't get any worse...Jules and Genesis are BACK. After taking a hiatus after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the girls have reunited for a SECOND SEASON of drinks, drama and Cara Delevingne's love life.
So much has happened since their last episode in April - Jules moved, Gen stopped drinking (temporarily), new people joined the team and existing members threw temper tantrums. It all gets unpacked on this one year anniversary episode since their first recording.
The girls go through an extensive list of celebs coming out in quarantine as well as Ellen's inability to look her staff in the eye. As for Comer's Corner, it will remain a bit dismal after some interesting revelations about JC's love life are brought to light. Listen here to catch up with your favorite gay degenerates and follow them on Instagram at @wecantthinkstraight!

Everyone, hi, we’re alive and well and SAFE. We hope you all are too. Apologies for the long hiatus during these difficult and crazy times. We originally recorded this episode back in March, during a time when coronavirus was just starting to impact our community as it still is today. We know these times are incredibly rough but we’re hoping to add some sort of joy to your day with this episode.
Obviously any travel plans Genesis and I had for Spring 2020 (no, we weren’t going on Spring Break in Florida) have been put on hold. But in this episode you’ll experience the uncertainty Genesis faced with her UK travel plans and concerns about Mary the Somm’s safety - spoiler alert! She is safe and with us and we are so, so happy.
In between the corona-conspiracies Gen shares on the show, you’ll hear updates on our temperature checks she so adamantly recommended us do. We also share an odd story about how hand sanitizer can turn deadly - in no way, does this mean to stop practicing hand washing and sanitizing.
In other gay news, Lena Waithe voices Pixar’s first openly gay character in the movie Onward, which unfortunately gets backlash from Poland and other homophobic countries.
Luckily, this news is met with some insightful statistics in the rise of the LGBTQ population in the UK - yay!
An episode isn’t complete without a Comer’s Corner update and Genesis has VERY interesting information about our girl Jodie.
We wish you all safe quarantining and love and we will be back soon.

Jules and Genesis are coming out of winter hibernation for another episode of We Can't Think Straight! Join them as they recap some of the latest queer news including a new segment called The Closet Corner. Jameela Jamil and Rosario Dawson come out (separately, not together unfortunately). Dwayne Wade continues to support daughter Zaya despite backlash from homophobic critics. Genesis covers the new Bollywood movie Be Extra Careful About Marriage, which features a romantic storyline between two men and sneezes through Bachelor in Paradise updates on Kristian and Demi.
The girls have been watching heaps of television shows to cover on Showcaps including Season 3 news on Killing Eve (!!!!). Jules has finally discovered Pose and dishes on Netflix's guilty pleasure train wreck Love is Blind. Should Carlton have told Diamond about his sexuality before proposing to her? You be the judge.
Shoutout to Mary the Somm for being the ultimate intern in Jesse the Intern's absence. Has he been ousted? Stay tuned!

Genesis and Jules are back with their first episode of 2020. It only took them the first month to finally get it out (since Genesis was busy becoming a new parent) but it is packed with a ton of queer entertainment, big gay energy and really old whiskey.
The girls dive head first into The L Word Generation Q to unpack all of the lesbian drama that has happened over the course of the first season.
And with the Oscars coming up, it only makes sense to address the lack of queer representation and female talent in this year’s nominations.
The ladies also talk about a professional sports lesbian wedding, Transatlantic accents a la Cate Blanchett from Carol, and queer partying in the Vatican.
This episode’s showcaps not only covers The L Word but also Genesis’s newly discovered obsession: The Circle.
The ladies and Intern Jesse welcome you back for a new year of gay news and entertainment. Continue to stick along for the ride…we promise it’ll be more entertaining than Jules’s attempt at an Irish accent.

After a very long Fall hiatus Genesis and Jules ARE BACK! Get ready for a jam-packed, ASMR-filled episode as the ladies and Intern Jesse get re-acclimated to podcast life.
In this episode they fill in listeners with all of life’s happenings: trips, awards, and stage dives…literally.
A big theme for this episode covers gender non-comforting celebs like Jonathan Van Ness on the cover of Cosmopolitan UK and Atypical’s Brigette Lundy Paine addressing their identity.
They also recap Kristen Stewart on her role in Charlie’s Angels (which deviates into Genesis’s new found love for Florence Pugh), Lil Nas winning a CMA award, Dwyane Wade addressing haters on social media, and Scarlett Johansson finally addressing her lapse in judgment about wanting to play a trans man.
In this episode’s Showcaps, the ladies lust over Netflix’s The Politician and the variety of queer characters it showcases and commend SNL on their increase of queer and fluid visibility. Genesis fills us in on Love Island Season 5 and shares her reflection of Ocean’s 8.
We hope you remain patient through this one. The hiatus shows strongly through a lot of chewing, drinking and cups falling. Follow us on instagram at @wecantthinkstraight if you want to continue to support this noise-filled podcast. We need all the support we can get!

For this week’s episode of gay news, Genesis and Jules dish about their girl Jodie winning that Emmy for Killing Eve (!!!), Mark Ronson’s not-so-sapiosexual admission, Eddie Murphy coming full circle on comedy routines aimed at the LGBTQ community, and Barbie Ferreira’s boss-ass-bitchness on Euphoria.
Join them for another entertaining and boisterous episode filled with lots of background noise(apologies in advance for the C-rated ASMR attempts) and Moscow Mules. Follow them on instagram @wecantthinkstraight as well as their guest @oceanshades.
