Hello and welcome back to another episode of We Didn't Know How Good We Had It, this week featuring riff loving, midlands 'Drum & Bass Duo' Too Piste.
Too Piste play furious angular riff rock with a unique spin. Taking cues from Cleft, Death From Above 1979 and event Queen (you'll understand), they smash their live show out of the park every time and they are not to be missed!
We had a fantastic chat (as we always do) but the lists these guys gave me was something else! Almost 100 bands between them, we tried fitting it all in but might need a part 2 just to scratch the surface.
Make sure you check out Too Piste on Facebook and on Spotify!
Hello and welcome to another episode of We Didn't Know How Good We Had It, this week I had the pleasure of catching up with Pete and Andy of Birmingham alt-pop-indie-fuzz 5 piece Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam.
We chatted how creative they were last year, the bands that influenced them, and why they're called Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam (the true story).
Hello and welcome back to another episode of We Didn't Know How Good We Had It. This week I had the incredible pleasure of catching up with my great friend, (and old boss), Sam Campbell-Whyte, manager of The Flapper in Birmingham.
As you're all well aware, The Flapper holds a special place in my heart, and it was amazing to hear about all the shows over the years, how much the community of The Flapper means, and how they beat the developers and bring the old girl back to life.
Shout out to John Williamson, the graphic designer who has created so many amazing posters for both my gigs, and for The Flapper, Paul Morgan, Flapper regular and admin of the We Love The Flapper Facebook group, and every member of The Flapper Family
Welcome back to another episode of We Didn't Know How Good We Had It and this week I had the incredible pleasure of chatting to Chris and Robin of Fleet & Frimleys finest HOLD YOUR HORSE IS.
This weeks episode was a little different as I wanted to get an insight into the band from the guys themselves and hear about their journey through the UK Music Scene they played such a big part in. We chat about recording with Gordon Mills, Robins amazingly simple/complicated guitar setup, and if they'd ever get together again.
I hope you enjoy!
Hello and welcome back to another episode of We Didn't Know How Good We Had It.
This week I had the pleasure of chatting with Adam Holborn, Singer/guitarist in South Wales up and coming math/emo trio Sleep Outside.
Since day 1 of doing this Podcast, Adam has been super supportive and it was amazing to be able to repay the favour and chat about all the music that has influenced him up to this point in his career. We talk about the UK Math Rock scene, producing his own solo music as Solstice, and the plans for Sleep Outside for the future.
Be sure to check out their debut single 'Skeleton' on all good streaming services and from the links below.

This week I had the absolute pleasure of chatting with Gareth Thomas of UK Noise-Punk outfit USA Nails. The guys in USA Nails have been sharing the podcast for a few weeks and it was fantastic to get Gareth on to repay their support!
We chatted about inclusive music scenes being created around the UK, how much community means the the punk scene, and I accidentally insult Gareths day job. Wonderful.
