We are BACK!! It's been a while, but we are pleased to be bringing you new episodes of We Got Spirit! Thanks for tuning in, we hope you enjoy. 

Turtle and Gonzo chat about what's new and coming up for summer 2020 for CAP's Summer Camps. Plus, a few special surprise guest shout-outs!! 

Welcome to We Got Spirit, formerly known as the Camp Shawnee Podcast! We have joined forces with our sister camp, Camp AJ, to bring you a new perspective on what goes on at camp! Both of our camps are operated by the Christian Appalachian Project, and we work very closely throughout the year to provide an amazing summer camp experience for both our service areas. Together we are working toward our mission of inspiring spirit and empowering Appalachian youth, and we hope you are just as excited as we are to go on this new adventure with us! This first episode is a behind the scenes look at what goes on during a Teen Leadership Camp, as well as an introduction to your podcast hosts, and our vision for We Got Spirit. We hope you enjoy! 

It's our final podcast episode from the summer of 2019! This week's episode was recorded at Salyersville Grade School, and it was another week full of counselor and camper fun. Enjoy! 

Join us as we journey to May Valley Elementary for this episode of the podcast! It was a hot, rainy week, but that didn't put a stop to our fun! Some important (and funny) questions got asked this week, and we hope you enjoy listening to the answers!  

Join in with our campers and counselors on the fun of Teen Boy Week! Recordings for this podcast episode were taken during a basketball game, so camper participation was a little low, however, that did not stop us from having a good time and learning more about each other and our shared camp experience! 

Teen Girl Week was filled with friendships, laughter, and so much fun! Some of our teen campers have been attending camp for many, many years, and it's so fascinating to hear about camp from their point of view. We hope you enjoy listening to our campers, counselors, and jr. counselors in this episode!
