This was an impromptu episode, to first, thank your guys for rocking with us and then to assess ourselves over the last 10 episodes. We scrapped our original idea because it just didn't feel right moving forward without looking back on how far we've came. This episode we connect with our brother from way back; Charles Walker aka Lil Kaycee. He is an up and coming artist gaining some buzz. While on the path to professional football Charles went through a life changing event. He was a victim of gun violence and wanted to share is testimony of how God spared his life. It isn't normal to survive 23 shots to the abdomen but Charles did. His only reason for coming on the show was to show that he is living proof that God is real! Of course we had to shed some light on his current music endeavors, and we also got his opinion on the present state of hip-hop.

We started with Jabril's personal story about how it felt to not grow up with a father, which opened up the conversations of dead beats, step dads and male mentors. We also get a perspective from Jeremiah and Roy who did have fathers. Here were some of the questions raised; Do fathers that left have the right to come back? This was truly an opportunity of a lifetime! We had the chance to have a conversation with Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams. Adams was 1 of 6 children in a single parent household growing up in Southeast Queens. He isn't oblivious to the struggles of many New Yorkers. Adams knows what it's like to be on both sides of the policing system; from getting arrested in his youth, to becoming an officer himself. He has a direct plan of attack to address some major issues in our city such as policing, education and health. He is running for Mayor to "turn over tables in NYC". He is NOT coming to play.
