We're not going to sugarcoat it. Part One of The Challenge: Total Madness reunion show was underwhelming at best, extremely boring at worst.
So, we spiced things up with a game of rotating host. Each of us took turns asking the others a very specific question, and the rest of us did our best to answer. We covered topics ranging from style, to Challenge fan fiction, and everything in between. Trevor also asked possibly the weirdest question in We Have The Numbers history, when he asked us swap places with one of the most popular castmates of the season (HINT: Melissa's unborn child).
It was a wild ride you don't want to miss.
It's moment we've all been waiting for. Welcome toTJ's Final. It's the end of the road for The Challenge: Total Madness, and the nine remaining housemates are locked in a battle to become Challenge champion. It's going to be a cold one, and their pain is TJ's pleasure.
Will Bananas cement his legacy as the best Challenger of all time, or will one of the other guys play spoiler? Will one of the two female prospects have what it takes to overtake Jenny's dominance? We break down a strange final episode and let you know who we would HATE to spend a night with outside in the freezing cold (spoiler: It's not Kyle, we love that guy. He rocks.)
This was a classic. On what we're calling the "regular season" finale of The Challenge: Total Madness, we had fights, tears, fears, and a double-elimination Hall Brawl. Give the people what they want!
Will the house look to take out living legend Bananas or Fessy the Giant before TJ's final? Would anyone dare throw Jenny into an elimination? Will alliances hold up under the pressure. Will we see even one second of Dee?
There was so much to unpack, but we talk through all of it. From the stunt car driving to Nelson's heroics, don't miss this episode of We Have The Numbers.
What do Bayleigh, Kyle, and Josh have in common? Honestly, very little. But those three are the only castmates remaining without red skulls, and time is ticking.
TJ surprises the entire house with a night challenge, where deals are made and graves are dug. Will everyone turn against Aneesa and force her to win an elimination for a second time? Will Josh try to wiggle out of yet another final?
We also touch on Trevor's brain, Pat's hair, Justin's lack of hair, and Cyndi's sneaky dark side. It was a fun one at We Have The Numbers.
We're in the home stretch of The Challenge: Total Madness, and TJ's final is on the horizon. It's a women's elimination night, and several housemates still haven't punched their tickets to the Big Dance.
Kaycee makes a SERIOUS splash, as the owner of a red skull suddenly has the power to decide the fate of Nany, Melissa, and Bayleigh, who are all looking for red skulls of their own. Bayleigh struggles with the departure of Swaggy and fails to control her emotions for a critical house vote.
We talk about all of that plus a puzzling challenge, which Total Madness cast member we would want as our therapist, and a feisty (Justin's word) elimination in this explosive, drama-filled episode of We Have The Numbers.
It's s*** or get off the pot time in The Challenge: Total Madness, and the four remaining guys without red skulls (Cory, Kyle, Josh, and Swaggy C) are angling to be next. For whatever reason, two of the guys are are indecisive about entering Purgatory. On a strategy-filled episode of We Have the Numbers, we break down this indecision and explain why Josh needs a life coach inside of the bunker. We also say goodbye to our favorite day trader, who brought math to The Challenge for the first time in history.
The crew then discusses Dee's erasure, which cast members have the worst sleep schedules (shoutout new mom Melissa), and a critical house vote. Buckle up, we're getting close to TJ's Final!
The We Have The Numbers crew addresses the fallout from Dee's offensive social media posts, including MTV's decision to remove her from The Challenge franchise. We then catch up on the Bananas and Wes elimination, a shocking betrayal that sends Dee into Purgatory against Mattie, and our latest predictions for the rest of Total Madness.
Oh yeah. We also talk about The Challenge tank, which is being put to some serious use.
If you haven't heard our brief BLM episode from last week, we encourage you to check that out and read the episode notes.
In light of the national conversation and protests following the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless other Black Americans, we will not be recording an episode of We Have The Numbers this week. Instead, we will dedicate that time and much more to learning about and fighting against the hundreds of years of systemic oppression that have plagued this country. We hope you will choose to do the same.
Because we think it’s important to use this week and all weeks to understand what it’s like being Black in America, we’ve compiled a list of a few podcasts that aid in that mission:
The Challenge has a special place in our hearts but feels absolutely trivial compared to the issues at stake.
We look forward to returning soon.
We have eclipsed the halfway mark in The Challenge 35: Total Madness, and it's our first female double-elimination of the season. With three ladies in the Tribunal, almost every woman left in the house is eligible for Purgatory.
Dee is angling to throw in one of the toughest competitors left, but will the strategy come back to bite her? How do the Challengers fare in the cold water of the Czech. sewers? What do we make of Josh throwing a drink at Swaggy C (spoiler: we don't love it!)? Why is Bananas wearing a parka inside?
We touch on all of these important questions and more in this episode of We Have The Numbers.
It's a foam party in Prague and the entire bunker is invited. TJ announces that it is a double-elimination day, and the cast is immediately put on edge. With two unexpected allies (Wes and Bananas) wielding all of the power in the tribunal, all of the men are at risk.
Who will win the two red skulls and who will be sent packing? What is the history of the deteriorating Soviet building playing home to the foam party? Will Nelson continue his apology tour of terror? We break down all of the madness on this episode of We Have The Numbers.
