Send us Fan Mail
In this inaugural podcast, Iain and Andrew discuss an album that had a profound and formative impact on their younger selves, Mercury Rev's 1998 masterwork Deserter's Songs. Discover how the LP broadened Iain's musical horizons and rescued Andrew from pop-punk purgatory. Which other two records combine with it to form the "Holy Trinity of Cosmic Americana"? What does Jonathan Donahue keep in his shed? And, if you're ever in the Catskill Mountains, where are you most likely to bump into a member of The Band? All this and more in our epic first recording.
