We Heart Hader

We conclude our in depth coverage of SNL's entire 33rd season with host Steve Carrell and musical guest Usher. Joining them for a nuanced discussion are special guests Darin Patterson and John Trumbull, cohosts of the SNL Nerds podcast. It's a lighter night for Bill with perhaps his biggest moment slightly awkward to talk about in 2026 but it's his last show before his luck starts to change the following season.

We are joined by special guest Victor Higgins of the Not Ready For Popcorn Players podcast as we review the penultimate episode of SNL's 33rd season. Shia LaBeouf with musical guest My Morning Jacket. A solid episode for Bill early in his tenure in which he has roles in both major recurring character sketches (including one of his own) and underappreciated deep cuts.

In our most jam packed episode to date, we review and discuss THREE (that's right, THREE, count 'em, THREE) different pieces of Bill content. The new Cat In The Hat trailer, a Documentary Now short made just for David Letterman's Mark Twain Prize Ceremony and the season two premiere of the regular Documentary Now series, The Bunker.

Based on the 1993 Documentary, The War Room, which followed James Carville & George Stephanopoulos running Bill Clinton's first presidential campaign. The Bunker focuses on Alvin Panagoulias (Fred Armisen) and Teddy Redbones (Bill Hader) running the 1992 Ohio Governor's race. Is it still relevant at all to today? You'll just have to listen to find out!
