This week Maxine Tatlonghari aka "Vanity Girl Hollywood" joins We Know Weho to share about her quarantine experience , her favorite West Hollywood spots and what she misses most.  She is a local beauty influence and blogger who is regularly featured on the West Hollywood Travel and Tourism blog with her food, fashion and wellness tips.  Maxine shares with us how she has helped to pivot annual event fundraisers at the American Lung Association as well as an update on the "Men Wear Turquoise, Too" campaign for COVID-19 research.

Sepi Shyne join us this week to discuss her platform for the upcoming West Hollywood City Council race in November.  Sepi is a West Hollywood resident who is business law attorney and a small business owner of a Reiki practice and has been a long-time advocate for women's rights.  Her activism career over the past 20 years includes fighting for LGBTQ rights locally and across the nation.  When the COVID crisis hit, Sepi cofounded the community group "Weho Neighbors Helping Neighbors" to help assistance local residents.  

Lauren and Tracy have lots to share this week including more new outdoor patio concepts that are popping up, 4th of July BBQ boxes galore from your favorite West Hollywood restaurants, Soulcycle and Drybar are open and the carwash burrito has some fierce competition from the Dialogue Cafe after last week's breakfast trek! 

This week's special guest, Keith Kaplan, tells us all about the amazing things that Project Angel Food is doing for the community and how they have increased their routes and the number of daily meals delivered during COVID.  Keith shares his favorite West Hollywood spots with us including the disco fries at Kitchen24, happy hour at La Boheme on the patio, Gelato Festival, the red velvet cookie dough from Brady's Bakery and the Chicago Dog at Carney's.  Lauren and Tracy have lots to share in the food segment this week with a new opening on Melrose called S.O.L. (Strings of Life) and a few old favorites who are open for dine-in including Cecconi's and Gracias Madre.  The girls are also excited to report that many restaurants are opening up new patio spaces for dining including Crossroads, Employees Only and Dan Tana's.   Two new health and wellness businesses will be opening soon - Artha on Sunset and Sweat Yoga in the former LASC space next to Sprouts.   Lots to hear in the neighborhood segment including a very colorful remodel for Le Parc Hotel, Melrose Rooftop Cinema to open in July and a sad goodbye to Warby Parker, Le Pain and PHOnomenal.  

Retail in West Hollywood is opening up on Melrose and Lauren tells us about shopping at The RealReal, Blue Mercury, All Saints and Rag & Bone.  The Health and Wellness section highlights 24 Hour Fitness and Harmony Pilates as they prepare to open in the coming week.  Other local business tips include the Healthy Spot is open for doggie daycare and the Artist Tree has Pride gummies on the shelf.  

What we don't know about Weho, this week's guest sure does!  Henry Scott, publisher and editor of Wehoville, joins Tracy and Lauren.  This week's neighborhood section is packed full of discussions about the city covering everything from the West Hollywood Park, City Council, landlords and how to engage local renters who make up 68% of the population.
