  • THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME (1932)
THE BIG GAME month kicks off with Ernest B. Schoedsack and Irving Pichel's fantastic THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME.
THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME was a runaway hit story by Richard Connell, and interest in the story has carried on for nearly a century later. But back in the 1930s, two directors used the leftover KING KONG sets (Schoedsack co-directed Kong) to make a daring adaptation with splashes of intense violence and social commentary.

Our When the Small, Gets Big Month concludes when with Fight the Future, with 1998's X-Files movie.
We spend a lot of this episode discussing the X-files in general, and the colonization arch, so if you have somehow remained unspoiled, please watch 200ish hours of great-to-middling television before catching up on this ep.

  • A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD
We decided to take a quick pause, before we finish our Die Hard series, but doing the one no one likes and we said we wouldn't cover: 2013's A Good Day to Die Hard.
We'll finish up with Live Free or Die Hard next week, but we thought we give this one a shot and add a little Christmas twist.
